How to Use the Junk Journal Templates
The junk journal templates are designed to fit US letter size, however you can use them with A4 paper.
The junk journal templates include two formats: png and pdf.
All templates work in a similar way regardless of the design.

Photoshop, Photoshop Elements or Photopea
PNG FORMAT TEMPLATES
PNG format can be used with a photo editing or graphic design program such as Phototshop Elements, Affinity Photo, or Canva.

Open the png template in a photo editing program such as photoshop elements or canva.
Place one or several digital papers on layers underneath the template layer. Position as desired.
Save the file in jpg format and print. Or print directly from the photo editing program. Cut out the pieces.
PNG FORMAT OVERLAYS
Open the png overlay template in a photo editing program such as photoshop elements or canva.
Place a digital papers on a layer underneath the template layer.
Save the file in jpg format and print. Or print directly from the photo editing program. Cut out.
Make a new document the same size as the template either 11″ x 8.1/2″ or 8.1/2″ x 11″.
Import the png template into canva and place on the document frame.
Import a background paper in the same size and place on the document frame.
Select the paper, right click and select Layer > Send Backwards.
Save the file in jpg format and download to your desktop.
Alternatively
Make a new document the same size as the template either 11″ x 8.1/2″ or 8.1/2″ x 11″.
Import a background paper in the same size and place on the document frame.
Import the png template into canva and place on the document frame. Save the file in jpg format and download to your desktop.
PDF FORMAT
Insert a piece of patterned or colored paper into your printer. Open the pdf file in a pdf reader such as Adobe Reader.
Make sure the “page scaling” option (or similar) is set to “none” to ensure that the template prints at the correct size.
Print the file and cut out the pieces.
